I'm a resident of a safe community where I usually take care to secure my entrances. However, tonight it seemed I forgot. I detected the sound of our front door swinging open and footfalls inside. This triggered my dog who began barking fiercely. I found a young man, probably in his late twenties, standing in our hallway looking bewildered. He stuttered, 'Umm, oh wait.. I don’t think I’m in the right place.' He clearly looked out of place. He promptly offered an apology and explained that he was supposed to visit a friend and must have ended up at the wrong address. He mentioned a number similar to mine, but not quite the same – only a couple digits off. He appeared friendly and harmless, yet it was still a bit scary for me. By this morning, I was ready to dismiss the entire thing as a silly incident. I planned to share the story with my neighbour...About the event... I casually mentioned, ‘I’m sure he told you about it but your friend popped in unexpectedly last night.’ There was a brief silence from my neighbour before he replied, ‘I don’t want to alarm you. But I have no idea what your talking about. We didn’t have a friend over last night.’

Not too long ago, I spotted a small girl at walmart racing through the toy section...every step she took was shadowed by a man following closely behind her. Something just didn't feel right about it. I halted the little girl to ask if she was lost, to which she replied, yes. When I asked her if this man was her father, she gave him a tentative glance before tearfully turning back to me and said...no... I held her hand and said we were gonna move to the front to get someone to call her mom...when we journeyed past him and made it to the start of the store...he just gave me this side glance that to this day sends chills down my entire body. If I hadn't intervened with that little girl...I'm truly afraid to think about what could have occurred to her.

In February 2012, I decided to visit my Grandpa's tombstone to celebrate his birthday. As I was kneeling down in front of his marker, I felt a sense of danger. Suddenly, I noticed a man dashing out of the surrounding woods of the graveyard. The moment I reached my truck, the man was around 50ft from me. As soon as I started the engine, I sped away, not before I had to pass him, giving me a clear view of his face. After a few years, I decided to get an app with lots of spooky, mystery creature, bad-guy, and flying saucer stories. While going through stories about bad guys, I found one that frightened me…”Israel Keyes”…You were speedy, Israel, but I was speedier and I'm relieved we didn't really bump into each other."

After finishing my work that day, I made my way to where my girlfriend worked. As I was almost at the mall entrance, a guy approached me to ask if I could give him a hand with starting his car because he needed to reach his job… I agreed to assist. We circled the mall to get to a car. Man: 'Then we just have to step in and I'll take you to my car that I require help to start." I feel goosebumps… I quickly tell him that I thought this was going to be an Easy Task and I have another place to go…I say I'm sorry and step back… As we go across parking spaces to get to the bank in a bit twisted way, we spot the same dude, who said he was ‘in a hurry to get to work,’ driving really s l o w l y …watching everyone."
