For those whose memory might be a bit shaky, Frasier was about a therapist who moved to Boston for a fresh start after his divorce. The main character, Dr. Frasier Crane, becomes an advice-giving radio talk show host who simultaneously deals with his own struggles. Luckily, he has a great group of friends who stand by his side and form the cast of a great sitcom. And the best part is that it’s coming back!
Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane
Since the show stopped airing, Grammer has gone on to be a part of other sitcoms and even wrote a book back in 1995.
He was the main character on the beloved sitcom, and fans patiently await his return on the reboot coming out October 12th.
John Mahoney as Martin Crane
John didn’t start out as an actor. He started acting classes much later at almost 40 years old.
That’s how he eventually landed a role in Frasier. Sadly, the actor passed away in 2018, at the age of 77.
David Hyde Pierce as Niles Crane
David, now at the age of 64, was another one among the cast of the popular sitcom who had a stellar career after the show’s end.
He showed up in shows like The GOod Wife and Julia, and he even dipped into the stage scene, appearing alongside Bette Midler in Hello Dolly.
Jane Leeves as Daphne Moon
In Frasier, Jane played Daphne, the caretaker of the main character’s father.
Her role won her an Emmy and a Golden Globe, after which she went on to star in more roles. She didn’t limit herself to physical roles, though; she’s done some voicework too on shows like The Simpsons and Phineas and Ferb.
Peri Gilpin as Roz Doyle
Peri played the producer of Frasier’s radio show, and she’s also done pretty well for herself since the show ended.
She’s been in series like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Mr. Robinson, and more. Peri said still keeps in touch with all of the Frasier cast, though, and that they’re one big family.
Bebe Neuwirth as Lilith
Bebe is a native New Jersey girl and is currently 64 years old. She started as a dancer before ever appearing as an actress, and has also been in lots of TV shows since.
Now for the most important news: what will the Frasier reboot be like? It will be on the Paramount+ platform and will be 10 episodes total. Most of the cast will be returning. This version of the sitcom will focus on the Boston roots of the main character Frasier Crane, and there will be even more laughs all around. There will be new members joining those we’re already familiar with, and it will air every Thursday after the first two episodes drop on October 12th.
