The drama surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan doesn’t seem to end. Their newest documentary series on Netflix only seems to add fuel to the fire. And yet, despite all the things that happened in the past few years, King Charles says there’s always room for a royal reconciliation. At least, that’s how royal reporter Rebecca English interprets things. Hopefully, royal reconciliations extends beyond Harry.
Communication Issues Prevail in the Royal Family
Rebecca English believes communication issues are prevalent in the royal family. Harry and Willaim rarely speak to one another. English comments that, instead of calling one another, the two brothers prefer to exchange text messages. “That’s more than sad, isn’t it?”
Well, while there’s no way to say whether that’s actually “sad” or not, one can definitely presume tension is still evident. The relationship between members of the royal family isn’t what it used to be, and you don’t even have to be a royal expert to see it.
As fans of the royal family know, Prince Harry and Meghan’s docuseries drama on Netflix reveals crucial parts of the couple’s life and their interaction with other members of the family. Some episodes have been, to put it mildly, scandalous.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s Docuseries Drama
Prince Harry and Meghan’s docuseries was dropped on December 8th, 2022. In it, the couple speaks out on difficult treatment, marriage, their first date, and press intrusion, among other things. As one might expect, the Firm has decided not to comment on the Netflix series or address claims the Sussexes made. However, some members of the royal family are apparently “very hurt and angry” about some of the things that were said in the series.
Ultimately, it’s no wonder that both sides are to blame for what went wrong. According to English, who’s a prominent royal family reporter, there’s definitely been mishandling and misunderstanding of the whole situation on both sides. She believes there’s definitely room for reflection on both sides of the family.
