Cucumber Sandwich: Necessary Ingredients

A Cucumber Sandwich

  • 2 ounces cream cheese, unsalted, at room temperature
  • 1 tbsp low-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 slices whole-wheat bread or whole-wheat baguette
  • ⅓ cup cucumber, thinly sliced

Preparation Process

In a small bowl, stir together the cream cheese and herbs until smooth. Spread the mixture over the bread or baguette, depending on your sandwich preferences.
